Our chapter organizes STAI 2027 in hybrid mode, technically sponsored by The Institution of Engineers and Scientists. The third edition brings researchers, academics, industry engineers, and government technologists together around computational intelligence, with keynote talks and peer-reviewed paper presentations.

STAI 2027 is the third edition of the Smart Technology and Artificial Intelligence conference. It gathers researchers, academics, industry engineers, and government technologists to discuss applied computational intelligence. Sessions mix keynote talks from academia and industry with presentations of accepted peer-reviewed articles.
The chapter runs the conference in hybrid mode. In-person sessions happen on Day 1 at the Houston venue, and online participation runs across both days over Google Meet, so authors who cannot travel still present.
Post-conference proceedings are planned for the Scopus indexed Springer book series Studies in Autonomic, Data-driven and Industrial Computing. Springer approval is still pending, so treat the indexing claim as provisional until organizers confirm it.
Submission handling, registration, and committee administration run on the IoES platform. Use the official STAI 2027 site as the authoritative source for deadlines and committee listings.
The technical program covers the following areas. The list is indicative, not exhaustive.
Machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and AI ethics.
IoT, smart cities, smart grids, and intelligent systems.
Analytics, visualization, and storage architecture.
Augmented reality, virtual reality, and wearable technologies.
Autonomous systems, robotic vision, and human-robot collaboration.
Blockchain, quantum computing, and cybersecurity for AI systems.
All submissions go through Microsoft CMT. Four tracks are available.
Accepted papers go to the Scopus indexed Springer book series Studies in Autonomic, Data-driven and Industrial Computing. Springer approval is pending.
Present at the conference with a shorter manuscript. Short papers appear in the SBS proceedings, indexed in Google Scholar.
Present at the conference without a full manuscript. Abstracts appear in the e-version of the conference souvenir.
Present in person with one printed A3 poster. Posters appear in the e-version of the conference souvenir.
ACM and IoES members pay a reduced fee in every paying category. Registration is handled by Konferenza Services.

STAI 2027 runs in hybrid mode. Remote participants join over Google Meet, and connection details go out to registered attendees before the conference.
In-person sessions are scheduled for Day 1 only. The host is the ACM Houston Chapter USA, 21803 Cypress Slough, Houston, TX 77073, United States. The chapter confirms the final room assignment closer to the date. See the venue page for the map and updates.
We want practitioners alongside researchers. If you run AI or smart technology work in production, a session proposal from you carries weight with this audience. Send your proposed topic and a short speaker profile.
The chapter also needs session chairs, reviewers, and organizing volunteers. Tell us which role interests you.
Send us your profile and photograph so the committee prepares your introduction and the conference souvenir. Keynote speakers also submit a talk title and abstract. Session chairs complete the first three questions only.
